Between Pride and Prejudice

Within this project I used Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice as a base text for blackout poems. Austen never married, but declared she would always give her characters a happy ending. I wondered if her books were her method of healing. The poems became a series of stories in which I re-imagine Jane Austen’s love life. One is her story, one is his. The other is their’s.
